Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil optional
  • 1 Tbs. minced onion dried
  • 1 Tbs. tomato dried finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Mexican Seasoning Mix or to taste
  • 2 tsp bell pepper dried minced
  • 1 tsp. parsley or cilantro, dried
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup whole wheat couscous

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, boil the water, olive oil, and seasonings.
  • Remove saucepan from heat, and stir in the couscous.. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
  • Fluff with a fork and serve.
