This delicious, nut-based gravy is wonderful over Company Loaf, baked potatoes, patties, brown rice, biscuits, or anything that could use a rich, creamy, gravy.
Lucia’s Cashew Gravy
Servings 12 1/4 cup servings
- In a blender, combine 1 cup of the hot water with cashews and process until very smooth.
- Add 1 ½ cups (the rest of the water) and blend till thoroughly mixed.
- Pour out into a saucepan and bring to boil, stirring constantly with whisk or square spatula till thick.
