  • In a blender, combine 1 cup of the hot water with cashews and process until very smooth.
  • Add 1 ½ cups (the rest of the water) and blend till thoroughly mixed.
  • Pour out into a saucepan and bring to boil, stirring constantly with whisk or square spatula till thick.
