Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro finely chopped, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or lime juice)
  • 2 teaspoons red onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • Pinch cayenne (optional)

Instructions

  • Mash avocado with a potato masher or fork.
  • Stir in cilantro, lemon juice, onion, garlic, cayenne, and salt.
